BEDWELLTY GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track in the Gwent town of Bedwellty first held racing in 1929. The track was situated on Bedwellty Road at 3° 12' W 51° 41' N and regularly held racing on Monday and Friday evening. It was an independently run track with grid reference SO1600. Sprints were held over 300 yards and standard races over 510 yards.

Racing continued until the gates closed for the final time in 2007.
